Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini have posted pictures on Twitter of the Manchester United squad on the plane to their tour of the United States this summer, welcoming high profile duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.
The midfield pair, who both featured at the World Cup in Brazil last year, only officially joined the club earlier on in the day, but the existing United players have wasted no time in making them feel welcome as the squad jetted out to the US which will begin with a game against Club America on July 17.
Marouane Fellaini also welcomed the players, though Frenchman Schneiderlin looked a little sheepish at being part of the former Everton man's photo, perhaps because he may well end up taking the Belgian's place in the starting lineup next season.
Alongside Italy fullback Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay, Louis van Gaal has recruited a quartet of top class players to make both squad and starting eleven significantly stronger.
United will put these players to the test this summer, with further games against San Jose Earthquakes, as well has matches against European giants Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain scheduled.
More good news for the Red Devils was that David de Gea was part of the squad, seemingly taking him a little further away from the clutches of Real Madrid.
