Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent has confirmed that the Paris Saint-Germain star is keen to return to Italy, as per Calciomercato.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with Tottenham in recent times, as per Metro, with the South American’s time in the French capital seemingly coming to an end.
Alejandro Mazzoni has confirmed that Lavezzi is interested in returning to Italy, with Juventus a potential destination.
"I have a great relationship with Marotta, Paratici and Allegri,” the agent told Calciomercato.
“Ezequiel can stay at PSG and go out of contract, but we are ready to listen to proposals from big clubs.
“Juventus are a team of full satisfaction and we are willing to open discourse. Ezequiel wants to return to Italy, Serie A is always in the forefront of his thoughts.
“A return to Naploli? De Laurentiis has closed the door to that possibility.”
Spurs have had issues on the right-hand side of their midfield, with neither Erik Lamela nor Andros Townsend fully convincing the White Hart Lane faithful of their respective merits.
As such, Lavezzi looks like an ideal fit for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, but the latest comments suggest that a deal seems unlikely.
The 30-year-old has been in Paris since 2012, winning three Ligue 1 titles with the Parc des Princes outfit, but has not been a mainstay in Laurent Blanc’s side.
Lavezzi showed the best form of his career while he was at Napoli, starring in the San Paolo outfit’s frontline for five years and playing a part in propelling the Naples-based side to their current statuses one of Italy’s best teams.
