Rodney Marsh reacts on Twitter to Sterling reports, increases Tottenham man’s value

Raheem Sterling

Former QPR and Manchester City forward Marsh comments on Liverpool’s Sterling and Manchester United-linked Tottenham striker Kane.

Former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to reports that Raheem Sterling will join his old club this summer.

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool have agreed a deal with Premier League rivals City over the transfer of Sterling.

The Citizens will have to pay a transfer fee of £49 million for the services of the England international winger, according to the report.

This means that Sterling will become the most expensive English footballer in history, but it seems that Marsh does not think that he is worth £49m.

The former Queens Park Rangers forward has also stated that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is worth £120m if Sterling is valued at £49m.

According to a recent report in The Sun, Manchester United have already made contact with Tottenham regarding a move for England international Kane.

It will be interesting to see how Liverpool spend the reported £49 million they will reportedly receive from the sale of Sterling to City.
