Peter Lovenkrands has transfer advice for Manchester United

Thomas Muller, Germany National Football Team

Former Rangers and Newcastle United attacker Peter Lovenkrands has some suggestions for Manchester United regarding summer signings.

Peter Lovenkrands has taken to social networking site Twitter to state that Manchester United should not make a move for Thomas Muller this summer.

According to The Daily Star, United are interested in signing the Germany international forward from Bayern Munich.

However, former Rangers and Newcastle United attacker Lovenkrands believes that the Red Devils should not go for the 25-year-old.

The 35-year-old former Denmark international has also suggested that United should try to sign players like Gonzalo Higuain of Napoli or Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.

Manchester United’s summer business

United have been quite busy in the transfer window so far and have made no fewer than three signings.

Attacker Memphis Depay has joined from Dutch giants PSV, midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to move from German powerhouse Bayern and defender Matteo Darmian has arrived from Serie A outfit Torino.

One suspects that Louis van Gaal’s side are not finished yet and will make some more signings before the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
