Jody Morris, Darren O’Dea and Rio Ferdinand react on Twitter to Raheem Sterling reports

Ex-Chelsea and Leeds midfielder Morris, former Celtic defender O’Dea and ex-Manchester United man Ferdinand comment on Sterling’s reported Liverpool exit.

Former Chelsea and Leeds United midfielder Jody Morris has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his give his reaction to reports that Raheem Sterling will join Manchester City this summer.

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool have agreed a deal with Premier League rivals City over the transfer of Sterling.

The Citizens will have to pay a transfer fee of £49 million for the services of the England international winger, according to the report.

Morris believes that it is a good move for Sterling, Liverpool and City, and understands why the 20-year-old wants to leave the Merseyside outfit.

Former Celtic defender Darren O’Dea has a similar opinion about Sterling’s reportedly imminent move to City, while former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has also had his say on Twitter.

Win-win situation

This is indeed a win-win situation for everyone. Sterling gets his wish, City get the player they want and Liverpool get loads of money to invest in players this summer.
