West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Angelo Ogbonna.
The Italy international defender has joined the Hammers on a four-year contract from Italian champions Juventus.
Ogbonna becomes the Hammers’ fifth signing of the summer so far following the recruitment of Pedro Obiang, Dmitri Payet, Darren Randolph and Stephen Hendrie.
Ogbonna is a highly-rated centre-back, but he struggled to make a huge impact at Juventus since his move to the Italian giants from city-rivals Torino in the summer of 2013.
During the 2013-14 season, the Italian could make just 16 appearances in Serie A, creating 16 chances in the process.
The defender had a pass accuracy of 90%, and won 36 headers, eight dribbles and 16 tackles.
Ogbonna featured in three Champions League matches that campaign, while last season he played just once in Europe's premier club competition.
The former Torino star, though, played in 25 Serie A games for Juventus in the 2014-15 campaign.
Ogbonna created four chances, had a pass accuracy of 89% and a shot accuracy of 22%, and won 41 headers, 15 dribbles and 20 tackles.
Everton were also reportedly interested in signing Ogbanna, according to The Liverpool Echo, with the defender himself thanking the Merseyside outfit for their interest in him on his official Facebook page.
Following Ogbanna’s transfer, West Ham and Everton fans took to Twitter to have their say.

West Ham United fans:
So we're signing Jenkinson and Ogbonna. Abdennour is better than Ogbonna but if he's going anywhere, it'll be to Juventus or Barcelona. #WHU— Ben Palmer (@BenAMPalmer) July 10, 2015
I love it how Everton fans are getting all serious since Ogbonna chose us over Everton not even a massive signing for us get a grip! #COYI— The West Ham Voice (@TheWestHamVoice) July 10, 2015
