Rangers boss Mark Warburton will hold talks with Tottenham

Glasgow Rangers manager Mark Warburton says that he will hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur and two other London clubs regarding players.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told The Scottish Sun that he is interested in signing players from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The 52-year-old Englishman made the comments following the Gers’ 3-2 defeat to the Premier League outfit in a closed-door friendly in London on Friday.

Warburton has also revealed that he will hold talks with two more clubs in London regarding players to sign this summer.

“We are looking for lean, hungry, talented young players,” the former Brentford manager told The Scottish Sun. “There are quite a few of these players about.

“Of course, I will have a word with Spurs to see what is happening with regards to some of their players.

“They have are a lot of really young, gifted players but I will also take this opportunity to speak to two other London clubs tomorrow."

Harry Winks and Ryan Fredericks?

According to a recent report in The Daily Record, Rangers are interested in signing Tottenham duo Harry Winks and Ryan Fredericks on loan this summer.

Winks is a highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder who has yet to make his debut in the Premier League.

Fredericks is a 22-year-old defender who has not played in the Premier League yet, but he has featured on loan for Brentford, Millwall and Middlesbrough on loan in recent years.
