Georginio Wijnaldum has being savouring his first taste of Tyneside.
While Newcastle United fans were left speechless by the fact that they had actually signed a player, their new boy was simply stunned by the thought of playing at St James' Park.

The Dutch international was snapped up for £14.5m on Saturday, per the BBC, as Steven McClaren made his first signing since taking over at the Magpies. Wijnaldum had previously spent four years with PSV Eindhoven and captained them to their first Eredivisie title since 2008 last season, scoring 14 goals in the process.
After signing for Newcastle, Wijnaldum revealed his delight at moving to the North East club, and was quoted by the BBC as saying: "I'm delighted to be a Newcastle United player. I felt the time was right for me to move and the club have shown they really want me."
With Wijnaldum stunned by an empty St James' Park, god knows what he's going to be thinking when there are 52,000 raucous Geordies with their tops off and their manboobs are flying around... But we're sure to find out when the Premier League kicks off as Newcastle United open the new campaign against Southampton on the 9th of August.
