Former Aston Villa, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers manager John Gregory has his say on Fabian Delph’s reported move to Manchester City.

John Gregory has taken to social networking site Twitter to have his say on reports that Fabian Delph will leave Aston Villa for Premier League rivals Manchester City.

According to BBC Sport, the England international midfielder will undergo a medical and complete his move to City today.

The Guardian claims that the Citizens will have to pay a transfer fee of £8 million for the services of the former Leeds United star after activating his release clause.

Former Villa, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers boss Gregory is furious that the Villans could lose the 25-year-old for just £8m.

Delph is a very good player, and indeed he is worth much more than £8m. However, it seems that Villa will not be able to do anything about it now.

It will be interesting to see how the former Leeds midfielder gets on at City. Delph is going to face tough competition for a place in Manuel Pellegrini's starting line-up, and he will have to step up his game.
