Former West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood joined Leeds United from Leicester City earlier this month.
Chris Wood has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for Leeds United.
The 23-year-old striker joined the Whites from Premier League outfit Leicester City earlier this month.
Wood made his debut for the West Yorkshire club on Friday evening, starting the pre-season friendly against Harrogate Town away from home.
The former West Bromwich Albion striker played for the first 45 minutes and gave a decent account of himself at the CNG Stadium.
Following the final result (1-1), Wood took to Twitter to express his delight at turning out for his new club.
Nice to be back out on the pitch again. Good 45 under everyone's belts and can push on from here! pic.twitter.com/kQbvCdE6Ez— Chris Wood (@officialcwood) July 11, 2015
Wood will be looking to make a strong impression on Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler during pre-season and earn himself a place in the starting line-up when the 2015-16 campaign gets underway.
The New Zealand international striker failed to make a huge impact at Leicester City, and he will be determined to make himself an important player for Leeds as the season progresses.
