As per a poll conducted by the Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo, the vast majority of respondents said they would sell Pedro Rodriguez for €32 million [£23 million].
The Spanish international winger’s future at the Nou Camp has been heavily speculated on in recent weeks, in spite of the star signing a contract extension with the club in May.
In a separate report in the same paper, the 27-year-old later admitted that his position at the club is fragile as he battles to dislodge either Neymar, Luis Suarez or Lionel Messi for a first-team spot.
Pedro is undoubtedly a firm favourite with the Catalan support, yet every player has a price and interestingly a certain section of the Nou Camp faithful would be happy to see him go if the fee is right.
In an intriguing question posed by Mundo Deportivo, the fee in question is £23 million and 71% of 3,311 participants to date would be happy to see Pedro go if such an offer came in.
Should Arsenal or Liverpool make a summer bid?
The La Masia product and three-time Champions League winner is without doubt one of the finest players in La Liga, yet there would be no guarantees of success should a Premier League switch occur.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have plenty of attacking options currently, and in the latter’s case boss Arsene Wenger has a tough task in picking a consistent line-up such are the options available to him.
At this stage of his career, Pedro has a tough decision to make and he needs to weigh up what’s more important; sustained success as a squad player at Barcelona or potential regular first-team football elsewhere but without the trophy guarantees.
