Sheffield Wednesday fans react on Twitter to Lewis Price signing

Former Ipswich Town, Derby County and Crystal Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price has joined Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Lewis Price.

The goalkeeper has joined Wednesday on a free transfer after leaving Premier League outfit Crystal Palace at the end of the 2014-15 season.

Price has signed a one-year contract with the Championship club and will be a replacement for the departed Chris Kirkland.

The 30-year-old Wales international started his professional career at Ipswich Town and went on to play for Derby County and Palace.

Price was recently on the books of London outfit Palace, but he struggled to get much playing time at Selhurst Park.

During his time at the Eagles, the goalkeeper was sent out on loan to Mansfield Town and Crawley Town.

Following the signing of Price on a free transfer by the Owls, Wednesday fans took to Twitter to have their say.
