School announces Yohan Cabaye's signing before Crystal Palace...

Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace - 23/02/2014

What on earth is going on!

The world of transfer news is really bizarre. There's the #ITK accounts who pretend they have 'sources' who tell them all about the wheelings and dealings when really they're sweaty teenagers kidding all of you. Then there's the media, and we're pretty great. However, it turns out there's another superb transfer news source... a secondary school from Surrey, obviously!

Crystal Palace announced the signing of Paris Saint Germain's Yohan Cabaye this morning at 9am on their official website, however Woodcote High School managed to announce the deal last night! They're seriously in the know!

The school's Twitter account posted this after Crystal Palace assistant manager, Keith Millen, popped in to present the school's end of year awards – big time.

With a school managing to pick up a big scoop, we're guessing the Post Office will be the next to announce Thomas Muller has signed for Manchester United or B&Q revealing Mario Balotelli is off to Stoke City. Who knows in these wild times of transfer news!
