Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Yannick Ferreira Carrasco will undergo a medical at Atletico Madrid today, according to Calciomercato.com.
It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Atletico have reached an agreement with AS Monaco over the transfer of Ferreira Carrasco.
The Spanish club will have to pay the Ligue 1 outfit a transfer fee of €20 million (£14.39m) plus bonuses for the services of the winger, according to the report.
Blow for Tottenham Hotspur?
According to a report in The Daily Star last month, Tottenham are interested in the 21-year-old winger.
However, it now seems that the North London outfit are set to miss out on one of the most promising young players in France.
The Belgium international enjoyed a positive season with Monaco in 2014-15, helping them finish third in Ligue 1.
In 36 league matches last season, the youngster scored six goals, created 56 chances, had a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won 13 headers, 87 dribbles and 38 tackles.
