West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino will sign a new contract before the start of the 2015-16 campaign, according to The Mirror.
Good move from West Bromwich Albion?
This is certainly a brilliant move from West Brom, as it means that they will have retained the services of one of their best players for next season.
The 21-year-old had a rather inconsistent 2014-15 campaign, but he was still one of the Baggies’ most important players.
Berahino scored 14 goals and created 28 chances in 38 Premier League matches.
The youngster had a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 54%, and won 18 headers, 26 dribbles and 26 tackles.
Berahino has been the subject of speculation this summer, with a number of Premier League clubs reportedly interested in the services of the Englishman.
According to The Sun, Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in recruiting Berahino.
Newcastle United, Everton and Southampton also want the youngster, claims The Mirror.
