They were once the fiercest of rivals. Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United got the better of Thierry Henry's Arsenal more often than vice versa - but both greats enjoyed victories against one another.
They never appeared as though they could ever be best friends. No one at Arsenal or Manchester United during those days did.
But, at Wimbledon on Friday afternoon, with their careers (Henry as a player, Fergie as a manager) firmly behind them, both Henry and Ferguson were all smiles as they sat near each other at SW19.
There were some pictures and videos to be found online appearing to show some bad blood between the Arsenal and Manchester United legends - but they were purely for comic effect.
In truth, Henry and Ferguson looked to be enjoying each other's company, even if they still aren't best of buds.
In terms of tennis, the duo were treated to an efficient display from Novak Djokovic against Richard Gasquet and an absolute masterclass from Roger Federer versus Andy Murray.
Added to David Beckham's presence at Wimbledon, then, the Manchester United and Arsenal icons provided even more of a football flavour to proceedings.
