The Manchester United summer signing has delighted fans on Twitter.
Manchester United are yet to sign the flurry of big names the yearly transfer rumours would suggest they are going to this summer. There has been no Cristiano Ronaldo, no Sergio Ramos, no alien touted as Earth's new best player.
But there is still time. And one man they have now gone as far as officially unveiling two months after confirming him as their first summer signing is Memphis Depay.
Indeed, the 21-year-old was presented as an official Man United player on Friday afternoon and later took to Twitter to sum his Manchester United move up in two words.
Along with a picture of himself with a United scarf, Depay simply admitted it 'feels good' to be a player at Old Trafford, while also posting 'GGMU' (glory, glory, Man United).
Also reacting on Twitter was former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh, who poked fun at the young Manchester United starlet:
Memphis Depay says he is a striker. He uses that word a lot. I do not think it means what he thinks it means !!— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) July 10, 2015
The jesting aside, however, Manchester United fans will no doubt expect big things from the 21-year-old next season. It may simply be a case of whether it takes him time to adapt or if he can hit the ground running under boss Louis van Gaal.
