New Leeds signing Lee Erwin impressed in the club's first friendly.
New Leeds United signing Lee Erwin made a positive first impression on his debut for the club.
Erwin was selected as a starter for the side's opening pre-season friendly, a 1-1 draw against Harrogate.
The striker was the club's second pre-season signing, and his arrival has subsequently been slightly overshadowed by the addition of Chris Wood.
The pair lined up together against Harrogate, with Mirco Antenucci completing the attack, but it was substitute Steve Morison who scored the goal for the visitors.
Erwin played only 45 minutes, with new boss Uwe Rosler switching the team around at half-time to build up the players fitness.
The striker's last action was the Scottish Championship play-off final against Motherwell, in which he was involved in an altercation with Rangers defender Bilel Mohnsi. There was no such aggression at Harrogate on either side, with the low key atmosphere giving Erwin a chance to feel his way into his new surroundings.
Rosler was positive about Erwin, telling LUTV: "Lee Erwin has shown glimpses of why we got him. I think he looks an exciting prospect. He has to learn about the game, but there was a lot of positives."
Here is a look at how fans responded to seeing Erwin in action for the first time...
