Kevin Wimmer pinpoints what he likes most about Tottenham's fans

The Austrian has been speaking after his first week of Tottenham Hotspur training.

Kevin Wimmer has pinpointed exactly what he likes most about the Tottenham faithful after his first week of training with the north London side, according to the club's official website.

The 22-year-old joined Spurs for a £4.3 million transfer fee earlier this summer, according to the Guardian.

And the defender is looking forward to the enormous support he is likely to get from the club's fans - especially away from home.

Wimmer told Tottenham's official site: "I already heard that Tottenham have brilliant fans, that they will support the team at home games, of course, but also that away games - it doesn't matter how far they are - they will travel.

"I think this is what you can enjoy as a player and I'm looking forward to this."

New-look defence?

Wimmer is one of a number of new defensive signings at Tottenham this summer, with Toby Alderweireld the most recent recruit to join the Austrian at White Hart Lane.

But how will Mauricio Pochettino's back four look?

Eric Dier has shown plenty of promise but now faces fierce competition at centre-back, with Kieran Trippier also brought in at right-back. Will DeAndre Yedlin be loaned out, meanwhile, and will Alderweireld play at centre-back or defensive midfield?

What of Federico Fazio, also, and will Tottenham be able to offload the likes of Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul ahead of next term? Questions, questions, questions...
