The former Tottenham boss wants to see more signings this summer.
He said: “Hopefully they can keep the goalkeeper who is top class, they have brought another right back in so that’s competition for Kyle Walker. Young Danny Rose is a top left back in my opinion, so they are strong at the back, they have got no problems there.
“Maybe they need another good midfield player, and certainly a front man is the priority. If they get that sorted, they will be a force.”
Redknapp believes that Spurs have finally sorted out their defensive issues by purchasing good players in Toby Alderweireld, Kevin Wimmer and Kieran Trippier, but still wants to see offensive players brought in.
Considering three midfielders have already left the club this summer, there is a lack of depth in the centre of the park, and bringing in cover and competition will be imperative.
Redknapp also wants to see a new front man brought it, who can compete with Harry Kane for the starting striker’s role. Kane may have enjoyed a prolific season, but he has still to prove himself consistently, and next term could be a tough one for him.
Despite Spurs getting a lot of business done early, they are yet to have finished their workings in the transfer market, and Redknapp highlights some vital areas that need work in the Tottenham squad.
