Gareth Bale’s tweet makes it clear where he wants to be next season

Reported Manchester United target and former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur star Bale wants to win the Champions League with Real Madrid next season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has taken to social networking site Twitter to state his ambition for next season.

The Wales international winger wants to win the Champions League with his club Real Madrid during the 2015-16 campaign.

Bale helped the Spanish giants clinch Europe’s premier club competition for the 10th time in their history in his debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2013-14.

The 25-year-old has now stated that he wants to win the Champions League once again with Madrid.

Blow for Manchester United?

Bale’s tweet will come as a blow to Manchester United, who have been linked with a move for the former Southampton star this summer.

According to a recent report in Spanish news outlet Cope, United had a bid of €140 million (£100.9m) for the Welshman rejected.

The Premier League giants are reportedly keen on signing the former Tottenham star, but from Bale’s tweet it seems that he has no plans to leave Madrid this summer.
