Manchester United officially unveiled Memphis Depay as the club's first summer signing on Friday afternoon.
The Dutch wide-man, who has joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven in a deal that could eventually be worth £33million, as reported in the Daily Mirror, will be in the squad for United's pre-season trip to the United States later this month.
Depay’s unveiling comes nearly two months since it was confirmed by both PSV Eindhoven and the Red Devils that they had come to an agreement for the transfer of Depay - just three days before the club embark on their tour.
Depay arrives with a reputation as one of the hottest talents in Europe after starring in the Eredivisie with performances that forced the Red Devils to beat numerous rivals to his signature.
The Netherlands international, who has drawn comparisons to a young Cristiano Ronaldo, is expected to be a major success at Old Trafford. He finished the season as Eredivisie's top scorer with 22 goals as PSV secured their first Dutch title since 2008 last term.
