The Foxes performed a miraculous escape from Premier League relegation to earn survival under controversial boss Nigel Pearson - but last week, Leicester controversially sacked Pearson, leaving them without a manager.
It doesn't appear that a decision is imminent over who will become the club's new boss, and that has a direct impact on the future of Esteban Cambiasso.
The Argentine veteran surprisingly joined Leicester on a free transfer last summer, and produced superb displays to help keep the Foxes in the top flight.
However, the 34-year-old is now out of contract, and the Leicester Mercury report that Cambiasso will now delay a decision over his future until Leicester appoint a new manager - leaving the Foxes in a tricky situation.
Other Premier League offers?
Cambiasso's displays in the Premier League last season could now trigger interest from other top flight clubs - even though Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that the Argentine snubbed an offer from West Ham.
The Sun even reported last week that Aston Villa are also pursuing Cambiasso, with manager Tim Sherwood allegedly keen to bring his experience to Villa Park.
If Leicester don't make a quick decision over their new manager, they could lose Cambiasso - and if that isn't enough, it could be to a Premier League rival.
