Wijnaldum has been linked with Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham United and Everton.
As reported by the official PSV website, the midfielder has been named in their squad for the tour, which begins today and takes in games against FC Basel, Lyon and AS Monaco.
Wijnaldum travels with the squad, despite having already held advanced talks with Newcastle concerning a summer move to St James' Park, as per the Chronicle. The PSV captain and Dutch international has also been linked to Sunderland, West Ham and Southampton, as per the Daily Mail, whilst the Mirror claimed Everton were preparing a late offer for him.
However, the Magpies are the furthest club along in the process of actually signing Wijnaldum, and it is expected that the 24-year-old will seal a switch to Tyneside in the coming days.
Regardless, PSV are pushing ahead with their plans for the 2015/16 season, with Wijnaldum seen as part of that. He has been included in their pre-season squad and will likely feature heavily in their big-name friendlies.
Newcastle are still set to push on with their move for Wijnaldum, but it is clear that PSV are not keen on losing him this summer.
Another familiar name to Magpies fans is included in the tour squad, with former striker flop Luuk de Jong set to continue his impressive form with PSV.
