Fenerbahce have announced on their official Twitter page that they have started talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Robin van Persie.
Van Persie has been on the books of United since 2012 and has a contract until June 2016, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
It now seems that the former Arsenal striker could be on his way out of Old Trafford and to Turkey before the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
