Twitter reacts to Fulham's signing of ex-Spurs man Jamie O'Hara: 'Are they bonkers?'

The midfielder played 28 games for Blackpool last season, scoring 2 goals and setting up 6 more - but is he an ample replacement for Bryan Ruiz?

Fulham completed the signing of former Tottenham and Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara after his release from Blackpool on Tuesday, and it was a move that divided Cottagers fans and got Twitter talking about the 28-year-old's career.

Deemed a hugely promising player when he came through at Spurs in 2008, O'Hara failed to nail down a first team place at White Hart Lane, and went on to move to Wolves after a decent loan spell at Portsmouth.

Fast forward a few years, skipping O'Hara's disastrous time at Molineux that saw the club relegated to League One and the player struggling to get game time, the former England Under-21 midfielder ended up at Blackpool last season where he was one of the few bright spots in the Tangerines desperately poor relegation campaign.

Coming as it did on the day Fulham sold Bryan Ruiz to Sporting Lisbon, some supporters argued on Twitter that O'Hara coming in on a one-year deal was a hugely uneven deal. But others, both supporters of Fulham and fans of other clubs, still think he has something to offer, as you'll see below.
