The former Leeds striker has again had to deal with criticism from supporters of his old side.
Noel Hunt has again had to deal with criticism from a Leeds United supporter on social media, once more hitting back.
Indeed, the former Whites striker, who was released earlier this year before signing for Ipswich Town but subsequently also being released by Mick McCarthy's side, responded to a Leeds fan who criticised him on Twitter.
The supporter then hit back and joked he was putting ticks on his 'dole sheet' - but the 32-year-old continued the now public spat and accused some Leeds fans of being 'bitter.'
You waiting for me there!!? Let's see signs on first shall we!? Hahaha I love how bitter some of you Leeds guys are! https://t.co/ZDAPth6OPy— Noel Hunt (@boyhunt) July 8, 2015
Hunt was quick to respond to another fan, though, who had offered his support, suggesting that the striker should ignore the 'haters.' He agreed and praised the majority of the United faithful.
Thanks George I have a lot of friend in Leeds it's a shame some of the narrow minded people try bring you guys down https://t.co/2D9vt2TwcO— Noel Hunt (@boyhunt) July 8, 2015
Pre-season appears an interesting time on social media as players seem to have more time on their hands once the day's training is over and are more willing to hit back at their critics on Twitter.
Curtis Davies did similar via his account on Wednesday afternoon and Hunt, being a free agent currently, naturally has no PR officer telling him what not to say!
