As confirmed by the official Celtic website, Logan Bailly completed a transfer from OH Leuven to Parkhead on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old started his career at Standard Liege, going on to play for KRC Genk, Borussia Monchengladbach and Neufchatel Xamax, before moving to OHL in 2012.
He has over 200 professional appearances at club level, and has been capped at every level for Belgium, from Under-16 to the senior international side - with eight caps to his name.
Still young for a goalkeeper, it is likely that Bailly has been signed to provide cover and competition for Craig Gordon, whilst also being a potential replacement for the Scottish stopper if long-standing injuries return.
He is an experienced option for Celtic, with European appearances, silverware to his name and an undeniable ability. Fans will never be disappointed if Bailly is called upon to turn out for the first-team, and having a strong back-up goalkeeper is vital for a team of Celtic’s size, who are looking to compete for silverware on a number of fronts.
Following the completion of the deal, Celtic fans took to Twitter to praise the wise signing of Bailly, with many believing him to be a player who improves the Scottish champions.

Logan Bailly was good but very erratic for Gladbach. No idea how he has done since. Should be backup to Gordon in case his injuries return.— CelticFM (@FMCeltic) July 6, 2015
