Arsenal media round-up: Wenger considers key tactical role for Ozil

A round up of news stories this morning related to Arsenal.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Arsene Wenger wants to make Mesut Ozil his primary number ten for the new season.

The German has sometimes been used out of position by the manager, who seems keen to find any way to include him across the Arsenal midfield.

His best position is arguably in behind the main striker, which is where the paper suggests he’ll be given the chance to play throughout next season.

The Daily Express has reported that Arsenal will have to bid over £43 million if they want to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli this summer.

The Argentine forward is mentioned as a key target for the club by the paper, with Arsene Wenger seemingly keen to improve his attacking options for the coming season.

Whether the Gunners boss would be willing to pay a club record fee to land Higuain is debatable.

The Metro has reported that Arsenal forward Joel Campbell is close to agreeing a move away from the club.

The newspaper claims that Turkish side Besiktas are the interested party looking to offer him a chance away from the Emirates Stadium.
