The internet reacted in its usual way as City completed the signing of the highly rated youngster.
The youngster became the club’s first summer signing for manager Manuel Pellegrini.
He is highly rated as well, having scored 182 goals in 110 games at youth level, and although he is unlikely to break into the City first team in the near future there will be high hopes for his long-term future in the game.
As usual, Twitter reacted to the signing, with most seemingly impressed by the club’s latest signing, suggesting they had been doing their homework via football simulation game Football Manager.

Man City sign Enes Unal. They've blatantly been playing Football Manager. #Wonderkid— Copa90 (@Copa90) July 6, 2015
If you know Enes Unal from anything other than FM or Fifa im very impressed.— A (@ScottishIniesta) July 6, 2015
City are expected to be busy this summer with many suggesting that a total overhaul of an ageing squad is needed if they are to compete for the title again.
Unal though, remains their only signing so far, although they have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks, and some Citizens fans took were hoping that the youngster is just the start of arrivals at the Etihad this summer.
Enes Unal is not going to be playing for the first team anytime soon nice try Txiki now actually go make a signing— ManCityArmy1894 (@ManCityArmy1894) July 6, 2015
I'm hopeful Enes Unal signing is just an hors d'oeuvres with the starter, main course and dessert to follow— Jon Brocklehurst (@JonBrocklehurst) July 6, 2015
