Roberto Soldado and Graham Roberts react on Twitter to Nabil Bentaleb news

Nabil Bentaleb and Harry Winks have signed new contracts with Tottenham Hotspur, while Etienne Capoue has left for Premier League rivals Watford.

Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the news that Nabil Bentaleb has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Algeria international midfielder Bentaleb has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him remain at Spurs until 2020, as announced on the club’s official Twitter page on Monday evening.

Bentaleb enjoyed a breakthrough season for Tottenham in 2014-15, and he will be looking to take his game to a higher level during the 2015-16 campaign.

In 26 Premier League appearances last season, the 20-year-old created 16 chances, had a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 24%, and won 34 headers, 28 dribbles and 45 tackles.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts is delighted to see Bentaleb commit his long-term future to the North London outfit and has posted the following message on Twitter:

Another Tottenham midfielder who signed a new deal on Monday was Harry Winks, and striker Roberto Soldado congratulated the 19-year-old as well as Bentaleb.

One midfielder who left Spurs on Monday is Etienne Capoue, who has moved to Premier League rivals Watford.
