Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has joined the rest of the squad for pre-season training.
The France international was on holiday for the past few weeks, but he has now returned to England to start preparations for the upcoming 2015-16 campaign (see photos above and below).
Sissoko’s future has come under speculation, with French publication L’Equipe recently reporting that Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are all interested in him.
The Frenchman is one of the best players in the current Newcastle squad and scored a hugely important goal against West Ham United at home on the final day of the 2014-15 Premier League campaign.
The 25-year-old scored the opening goal in the Magpies’ 2-0 win against the Hammers at St. James’ Park, a result which helped them retain their Premier League status.
In 34 Premier League appearances last season, Sissoko scored four goals and created 43 chances.
The Frenchman had a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 48%, and he won 47 headers, 85 dribbles and 34 dribbles.
