Aston Villa and Swansea are reportedly interested in Townsend, while Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked with Bentaleb.

Tottenham Hotspur have continued with their pre-season training today, as they start their preparations for the upcoming 2015-16 campaign.

Among the players in training today were winger Andros Townsend, midfielder Nabil Bentaleb and defender Kevin Wimmer.

Today was the first day of training for the aforementioned trio as they have returned from holiday (see photo above).

Andros Townsend

The upcoming 2015-16 campaign will be important for Townsend, who had a rather disappointing time last season.

The England international struggled to play regularly for Tottenham and managed to make just 17 appearances in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old winger has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, with The Mirror reporting last month that Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Swansea City are interested in him.

Nabil Bentaleb

Bentaleb enjoyed a successful 2014-15 breakthrough season for Tottenham and established himself as a regular member of the starting line-up.

The Algeria international midfielder created 16 chances in 26 Premier League appearances last season, while having a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 24%.

The 20-year-old has also been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, with The Sun reporting of interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Kevin Wimmer

Wimmer moved to Tottenham from German club Koln earlier in the summer.

The Austria international is a highly-rated centre-back, but he will have to work hard to make himself a regular in head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
