All the latest summer transfer news from Anfield...

New Liverpool signing James Milner posed in a Reds shirt for the first time earlier today, completing his move from Manchester City.

Milner, 29, left Manchester City on a free transfer to join Liverpool, and told the club's official website that is 'great' to have signed for the Reds.

"It's an amazing feeling," said Milner. "It's always a big thing, obviously, changing club. To sign for a club as big as Liverpool with the history they've got and the place it is - I'm just ready to get started I suppose. It's great to be here; over the summer you're thinking about it and wanting to get going once the decision has been made so it's great to come here."

The Liverpool Echo report that Brazilian playmaker Roberto Firmino has passed his medical with Liverpool and can now complete his move.

The Red agreed a deal to sign Firmino last month, but the Hoffenheim star has now rubber-stamped his move to Anfield, completing his medical over the weekend.

French newspaper L'Equipe report that Liverpool have an interest in Newcastle United youngster Olivier Kemen, thought Tottenham are also pursuing the teenager.

The 19-year-old joined Newcastle from Metz back in 2013, but hasn't managed to make an impact at St. James' Park yet - Liverpool are reportedly negotiating a move to sign the Frenchman this summer.
