HITC Sport understands Hibernian are poised to sign former Ross County goalkeeper Antonio Reguero to bolster their goalkeeping options.
HITC Sport understands that former Ross County goalkeeper Antonio Reguero is on the verge of joining Hibernian on a free transfer.
Reguero is a free agent after seeing out his contract at Ross County following one season in Dingwall.
The 33-year-old made 16 appearances for Ross County last season, but was unable to hold down a regular place in the side due to the form of former Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is keen to bring in Reguero as he looks to provide cover and competition for Mark Oxley after making his loan move from Hull into a permanent deal.
Former Real Madrid man Reguero has spent the last three years in Scotland after joining Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2012 before moving to Kilmarnock a year later.
Reguero failed to make a single appearance during his time at Rugby Park before moving on to Ross County last summer and now he is set to join his fourth Scottish club by making the switch to Easter Road and Hibs.
