The Gunners finished last season in fine form and are being touted as challengers next season.
The Gunners ended last season in fine form, going on an impressive run from January to the end of the season, as they became the league’s in-form side.
That fine run of form culminated in the FA Cup final win over Aston Villa, their second successive FA Cup triumph, and has now got many talking up their chances of a potential Premier League title challenge next season.
And Bellerin says those performances has got them believing they can beat any team in the world.
“The team really feel like we can beat any team in the world with the performances we’ve had,” he told Arsenal.com
“We’re all really, really excited to hopefully start the season with the right mindset and with the right results. Hopefully by the end of next season we can win some more trophies.”
Arsenal need a flying start
If Arsenal are to compete on all fronts next season, they will need to make a flying start to the campaign, something they failed to do last season.
It is in fact fair to say that their slow start to last year, brought on by several stars suffering something of a World Cup hangover, was what stopped them competing for more honours come the season end.
And Bellerin agrees, saying they must look to start with the confidence that they finished last season with.
“We need to start with the confidence that we finished this season with,” he added.
“That’s going to be important for us, to keep pushing and start where we left off at the end of last season.”
