Unsettled Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele says Bayern Munich his dream club

Mousa Dembele has been discussing his admiration for Bayern Munich.

Mousa Dembele has named Bayern Munich as his dream club, in an interview with Belgian outlet Sporza.

The Belgian international midfielder struggled to hold down a place in the Spurs side last season, averaging under 45 minutes per appearance in the Premier League.

Sporza also revealed on Friday how Dembele admitted he was frustrated with this lack of playing time and hopes for improvement.

Speaking to Sporza at a grass roots development event, Dembele revealed his perfect club as German champions Bayern Munich.

He said: "Tottenham is a great club, but there are better teams of course. Bayern Munich is a very nice team. Yes it is."

Not angling for a move

Dembele may dream of playing for Pep Guardiola's side, but it is not going to be happening any time soon. To stand any chance of that he would have to be bossing it week in and week out for Tottenham at the very least.

He was though surprisingly linked this summer with a move to Premier League champions Chelsea by The Sun.

The midfielder is due to return to training with Tottenham on Monday July 13th after his summer break, and was quoted by The London Evening Standard last week stating he will seek clarification over his future with head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
