Newcastle's Sammy Ameobi is wanted by two clubs this summer.
Ameobi, 23, had largely been on the fringes of the Newcastle team ever since emerging through the ranks at St. James' Park, but came to the fore last season.
With two goals in 27 appearances, Ameobi flashed ability in the Magpies first team, and has been offered a new contract to stay on Tyneside, with his current deal expiring this summer.
Wales Online believe that Ameobi is expected to sign that new contract this week - but then he has a decision to make over his immediate future.
The report states that Ameobi has offers to go out on a season-loan to both Cardiff City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he now has to choose which club to sign for.
Cardiff or Wolves?
Cardiff have a couple of decent wingers in Craig Noone and Anthony Pilkington, but adding the pace and athletic quality of Ameobi would certainly give manager Russell Slade another option.
However, Wolves are likely to be pushing for promotion next season, and having lost Bakary Sako on a free transfer this summer, Ameobi could be the ideal replacement for the Mali international.
Newcastle need to send Ameobi to a winning team next season, and Wolves could be the perfect destination for him to continue his development before returning to St. James' Park.
