Leeds United Crest

Blackburn, Leeds and Bolton are all reportedly interested in signing former Derby County and out-of-contract Sheffield Wednesday man Chris Maguire.

Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing Chris Maguire this summer, according to The Sun.

According to The Sheffield Star, the attacker will leave Sheffield Wednesday this summer after failing to agree a new deal with the Yorkshire outfit.

The Sheffield Star has claimed that both Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United are interested in the 26-year-old, and it has now been reported that Blackburn have joined the race for the services of the Scotsman.

Good player

Maguire has been on the books of Wednesday since 2012 and is a very good player - at the Championship level at least.

The Scotsman had a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 41%, and won 18 headers, 60 dribbles and 76 tackles.

During the 2013-14 campaign, Maguire scored nine goals and created 62 chances in 27 Championship games for Wednesday.

The former Aberdeen player had a pass accuracy of 76% and a shot accuracy of 41%, and won 14 headers, 20 dribbles and 56 tackles.
