Julian Dicks’ response when asked if he will have a say in West Ham transfers

Julian Dicks is part of West Ham United’s coaching set-up.

West Ham United first-team coach Julian Dicks has stated on social networking site Twitter that head coach Slaven Bilic and the board will have the final day on transfers this summer.

Dicks, who has recently been appointed in his new role, is seemingly open to giving his opinion if he is asked.

Should Julian Dicks’s opinion be taken into consideration?

West Ham have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer, and they are likely to make more signings before the start of the 2015-16 campaign.

Dicks will not have a major say in which players the club brings in, but his opinion should be taken into consideration.

After all, the former Liverpool defender is part of the West Ham coaching set-up, and he will be coaching the players who will be signed.

Moreover, the 46-year-old has been a manager before. Prior to his stint as the West Ham United Ladies boss, Dicks was in charge of Wivenhoe Town, Grays Athletic and Sealand.
