Manchester City attacking midfielder Samir Nasri has taken to social networking site Twitter to make it clear that he does not want to leave this summer.
The France international has been on the books of the Premier League giants since 2011, when he moved from Arsenal.
According to a recent report in the Football Insider, Nasri had asked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to re-sign him this summer.
However, the former Marseille star has made it clear on Twitter that he has made no such request.
Never asked anyone to comeback!! Really happy where i am right now so stop with your silly story— Samir Nasri Official (@SamNasri19) July 4, 2015
Nasri is an important player for City and remains one of the best players in the Premier League.
The Frenchman has won the Premier League title twice and the League Cup once with the Manchester outfit.
It would make no sense for the Citizens to sell Frenchman this summer, despite the fact that he is now 28 years of age.
Moreover, Arsenal do not need Nasri, as the North London outfit have enough attacking midfield players.
