Roberto Mancini’s amusing response when asked about Mohamed Salah

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Inter Milan are reportedly interested in Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has made a joke about signing reported Tottenham Hotspur target Mohamed Salah, as quoted on the Italian club’s official Twitter page.

According to The Independent, Milan-based outfit Inter are interested in signing Salah from Chelsea this summer.

The London Evening Standard has reported of Tottenham’s interest in the Egypt international winger, who is also on the radar of West Ham United, according to The Mirror.

Former Manchester City manager Mancini has been coy on reports suggesting that he wants to sign Salah, giving the following amusing reply when asked the question:

Would Mohamed Salah be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Salah moved to Chelsea from Swiss giants FC Basel in January 2014 amid hype and expectation.

However, the Egyptian winger has failed to make any significant impact at Stamford Bridge so far, and it does not look like manager Jose Mourinho fancies him as a first-team player.

At Fiorentina, though, Salah was a huge success, and his performances in Serie A during the second half of the 2014-15 season show that Tottenham would be wise to sign him this summer.

The winger scored six goals and created 30 chances in 16 Serie A games for Fiorentina, while having a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 52%.

Salah scored one goal and created 12 chances in seven Europa League matches for the Florence-based outfit.

The former El Mokawloon winger was one of the best signings of the 2014-15 Serie A campaign, and he is a player who will certainly improve Tottenham.
