The French capital may be calling for Lille midfielder Adama Traore.
Paris Saint-Germain are readying a bid to bring Lille’s Mali midfielder Adama Traore to the club as a potential replacement for former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who has been linked with Crystal Palace.
It is reported by Le10 Sport that Traore has emerged as a number one contender to arrive at Parc des Princes this summer, as Cabaye looks set to leave the club.
Manchester United were linked with a move for the 20-year-old talent by L’Equipe at the end of last month.
Chelsea and Manchester City were also linked with the player in that same report, but Liverpool are also believed to be keen.
Le10 Sport were reporting Liverpool on being keen on bringing Traore to Anfield along with his team-mate Divock Origi this summer.
Do the Premier League sides have a chance?
Realistically, if PSG are now in the hunt, they are the most likely to win it.
First off, they have more financial clout than the other two. They can also offer him more first-team opportunities. Add to that the fact he can continue to play in the French league and not have to up roots, PSG must be the favourites.
