Everton are interested in signing attacking midfielder Dennis Praet from Anderlecht this summer, according to The Guardian.
It has been reported by the British newspaper that Everton’s Premier League rivals, Aston Villa and Southampton, are also looking to sign the 21-year-old.
Last month, The Daily Mail claimed that Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City are monitoring Praet.
Would Dennis Praet be a good signing for Everton?
Praet is one of the most promising emerging talents in Europe, and he has already started to attract attention from some big clubs.
The reported interest of Arsenal and City suggests that the 21-year-old is rated highly in the footballing community, and it would be somewhat of a coup if Everton are able to secure his services this summer.
Praet has made over 100 league appearances for Anderlecht and has featured once for the Belgium national team.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez likes to play a free-flowing and attacking brand of football, and he would certainly be able to make room for Praet in his team.
