Celtic will make a third bid for Dundee United forward Nadir Ciftci, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported by the Scottish newspaper that the Scottish Premiership champions are determined to sign the 23-year-old this summer despite seeing two offers turned down.
The Bhoys previous bids of £900,000 and £1 million were rejected by United, according to the report, but the Glasgow outfit remain keen on acquiring the services of Ciftci.
English League One club Wigan Athletic are also interested in the Turkish forward, according to The Daily Record, but the player himself is claimed to favour a move to Celtic due to possible Champions League football next season.
Celtic or Wigan Athletic?
Wigan got relegated from the English Championship at the end of the 2014-15 season, and it makes sense for Ciftci to prefer a move to Celtic.
After all, the Hoops are one of the biggest clubs in the world and could feature in the Champions League next season.
Moreover, the standard of the Scottish Premiership is much better than that of the English League One, and it makes sense for Ciftci to want to move to Celtic.
