Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Derby County's Tom Ince signing

Derby snapped up the talented midfielder from Hull City yesterday.

Derby County yesterday confirmed the permanent signing of Tom Ince from Hull City. The fee for the player is said to be a club record fee of around £4.75 million, according to the BBC.

Ince joins the likes of Alex Pearce, Scott Carson, Darren Bent and Andreas Weimann in moving to the club this summer.

Of course he spent part of last season on loan at the iPro Stadium. He scored 11 goals in 18 games for The Rams in his time at the club and that form has convinced new Derby boss Paul Clement to bring the player in permanently.

Of course, Derby was not his only loan spell last season. He also spent time with fierce rivals Nottingham Forest. His former England under-21 boss Stuart Pearce snapped him up in October last year. However, after six games and no goals he returned to Hull in December – with most Forest fans disappointed with his spell at the club.

Now some Forest fans have taken to Twitter to mock the signing, especially considering they got James Ward from Derby for free this summer.

Time will tell which of the two signings proves to be the better value for money next term, but it seems most Forest fans have already made their mind up…
