The reigning Italian champions have landed the Brazilian goalkeeper from Fiorentina.
With Simon Mignolet not entirely convincing at times for the Anfield outfit, Brendan Rodgers’ men were said to be keeping a close eye on the Fiorentina stopper earlier this year after his good performances at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
However, Juventus have won the battle to sign the 25-year-old, with the stopper penning a four-year deal with the Bianconeri.
Neto spent four years on the books of the Viola, making 72 appearances for the Florence-based club and will now have the unenviable task of fighting against Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon for a starting berth in Turin.
The goalkeeper was part of the Brazil under-23 side that competed at the London Olympics but has not represented his nation at senior level as yet.
Mignolet’s performances were much improved towards the end of last season and as such, rumours linking Liverpool with new goalkeepers have died down to some extent recently.
