Here is how Celtic will line up for their latest pre-season friendly:
Celtic starting XI: Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Mulgrew, Izaguirre, Brown, Rogic, Forrest, Johansen, Mackay-Steven, Griffiths
Celtic subs: Fasan, Fisher, Ambrose, O’Connell, van Dijk, Tierney, Henderson, Lindsay, Nesbitt, Donnelly, Stoke, Scepovic, Thomson, Boerrigter, Hazard
Celtic began their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory against Den Bosch last week, and now Ronny Deila’s side take to the field again for their latest friendly, this time against Dukla Prague.
The importance of Celtic’s warm-up matches cannot be understated with their first crucial Champions League qualifying tie just around the corner, and hopefully more to follow.
That means Celtic have to hit the ground running after a brief rest this summer. But the double winners will know their recent successes must now be consigned to the past with a path back into the European elite crucial if they wish to attract the best calibre of players to the club and ensure their campaign is even better than the last.
Dedryck Boyata and Tom Rogic both impressed last week and the duo are again involved, with the latter knowing he has a lot to prove to ensure he gets regular first-team chances next season.
