West Ham players comment on Twitter after their Europa League victory over Lusitanos.

West Ham recorded a comfortable 3-0 win to begin their Europa League campaign, making light work of Andorran side Lusitanos.

There remains a second leg to negotiate, but Slaven Bilic's side showed enough to suggest it will simply be a formality.

With the club making their earliest ever start to the season, Bilic picked an experimental line-up, handing debuts to youngsters Lewis Page and Reece Oxford, who became the club's youngest ever player.

There was also a return for Argentine attacker Mauro Zarate, who was signed a year ago but fell out of favour under Sam Allardyce and was loaned out to QPR.

He made a positive impression, providing an assist for Diafra Sakho to bag one of his two goals, with James Tomkins adding a third.

Zarate, Page and Oxford all posted on Twitter after the game to communicate their delight at featuring in the win.

Hammers co-owner David Gold also took to Twitter to explain how he and Slaven Bilic marked the game for Oxford and Page.
