The Italian branch of the Pozzo football family are set to send the pair to Watford.

Watford’s association with the Italian side Udinese looks set to pay dividends once again this week, as two Napoli players seem destined for Vicarage Road.

Tutto Mercato Web are reporting that Napoli are on the brink of signing Udinese star Allan. The price for the deal will be 10 million euros and two players in exchange. The two players are Swiss international midfielder Gokhan Inler and Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos.

Inler is of course a massive coup. The Swiss is a talented operator who, back in 2008 was linked with Arsenal by The Telegraph and again almost joined Arsenal in 2013, as reported by The Independent.

Inler previously played for Udinese from 2007-2011 but is far from his Arsenal coveted best. He played just 11 times in the 2014-15 season for Napoli and Udinese are happy for him to head to Watford on loan.

Britos, known for having a fiery temper, will add another defensive option for The Hornets.

The deal looks to be on the way to completion and it would represent another excellent link up between Watford and Udinese which will no doubt help them in their Premier League campaign.
